About the Role

Position Summary
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Access Safe Care, LLC, you play a crucial role in providing high-quality, compassionate care to our clients. Working under the supervision of licensed healthcare professionals, CNAs assist with daily living activities, monitor health status, and contribute to the overall well-being of clients in home and community-based settings.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Care:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Provide assistance with meal preparation, feeding, and medication reminders as directed.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement care plans and ensure clients' physical and emotional comfort.

2. Health Monitoring:
- Regularly assess and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Report any changes in clients' health status promptly to the Nursing Supervisor or designated healthcare professional.
- Document care provided accurately and maintain up-to-date client records.

3. Communication and Collaboration:
- Maintain open and effective communication with clients, their families, and other healthcare team members.
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and other caregivers to ensure a coordinated approach to client care.
- Attend team meetings and contribute insights to enhance the overall quality of care.

4. Safety and Comfort:
- Implement safety measures to create a secure environment for clients.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, promoting a positive and caring atmosphere.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized living space for clients.

5. Professional Development:
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and stay informed about industry best practices.
- Stay current on relevant regulations and guidelines governing CNAs in the healthcare field.

6. Adherence to Policies and Procedures:
- Follow established policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of care and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Report any incidents, accidents, or deviations from care plans promptly.

Requirements

- Successful completion of a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant program.

- Current CNA certification and in good standing with the state licensing board.

- CPR and First Aid certification.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Compassionate and empathetic approach to client care.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
